GBS believes that any business, organisation or person can become truly powerful and successful. All it takes is direction, planning, clear intention and attention to the work to be done. We started our business coaching people individually and as organisations. Soon as we worked beside people in their different roles within their organisations we realised several things:

• 'People' development in most organisations was often a random and non deliberate process, usually unintentionally. The managers and owners hadn't been taught how to direct their attention or set their intention in their own roles, so how can you teach what you don't know.
• Technology was usually chosen based on someones' sales pitch or glamourous advertising instead of intentionally selected to suit a particular task.
• Software was not used as a solution to the often tedious and mindless tasks performed by team members. Software when specifically written to solve a problem in a business or organisation, saves money but more importantly frees up the time for talented team members to use their time on creating more....profit, donations, product ideas, teaching programs....the list is endless.
• Equipment and machinery was often not researched before purchase, bought in "knee jerk" mode. So many organisations had products sitting in parking lots or darkened store rooms because they were bought without proper research or investigation.
• Use of a web page was rarely understood, which reflected in either overspending or underspending on websites and hosting. The design packages people chose were often not aligned with what they really wanted to achieve in their online presence. The hosting was either inefficient or exorbitant to their needs.

Taking all of these factors into consideration we realised that we needed to widen our focus somewhat, no point delivering the perfect business plan and systems, coaching people on how to use them and give them no tools. So we developed over the last 4 years a complete package that includes the following.....

Equipment and Technology

There is seldom alignment between what you are using and what you need. Why? Many are scared of technology or simply don't understand it. This is understandable as every organisation has their own product to sell. We changed this paradigm a little, yes we sell products but we don't affiliate ourselves with one product or supplier. we source what is needed individually for each client after this assessment which takes into account your current structure and processes and what we have perceived will be created in the future. We match your needs as closely as possible to a purpose built product or service. This way we can ensure that you will get the maximum returns possible on capital expended on equipment and technology.

Software

We realised when we had purpose built software written for our own business how powerful this can be and how the myth it costs too much to have software developed for you simply has no factual basis... Sure it cost more initially than an almost fit generic package, but it worked exactly as we needed it to work saving us thousands of man hours over the first 2 years and giving us detailed records of what was really happening in our business. We specifically work with you from the manual process up to finished package and on into testing mode to polish it into something that will allow you to spend more time creating and less time reacting in your business.

Website Design and Hosting

This is one of our newer products/services. We now have our own dedicated servers and web design team. We set up our own hosting servers in two US Data centers, because we couldn't find reliable and value for money products out there. We also at the same time created a team of design professionals that can create any kind of web presence you need. Being in house means we can work with you on changes as the site develops from initial concept discussions to final beta testing and beyond. We are especially fond of database driven web content.
